Hi,
i have rented this server:
Intel (R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.20 GHZ Dual Core
4,00 GB RAM
Radeon X300/X550 Series
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server
Standard edition
Service Pack 1
I have follow all the Guide for installation of NWNX4..
but when i start up the program this is the log of NWNX4 window:
16.43.08: Running in GUI mode.
16.43.08: Worker thread started.
16.43.08: Starting the NWN Server.
16.43.14: Error: DDE execute request failed: a request for a synchronous execute transaction has timed out.
16.43.14: Execute failed!
16.43.14: * Hook not installed or error during initialization
16.43.14: * Server process has gone away.
Someone can help me?

From what you wrote the first thing I'd check would be the NWN executable path in the ini file.

Maybe you could check if NWNX4_hook.dll is loaded with your nwn2server.exe.
Either the dll is not loaded (Must be together with either the nwnx4_gui.exe or the nwn2server - just can't remember which - best is to have them alltogether ) - or it is loaded, but the connection is not working.
There are many tools out there to check which dlls are loaded with a program.
Maybe this can bring you a step further.

The installation guide of this program will no work..
Maybe the problem that i haven't patched the game..? |
