Let's say : There's this total noob who has no idea what he is doing, has no comprehension of database or mysql or how they work, and he wants to set up a database on his NWN Server. What are the things he would need to do and in what order to get things going?

Well, my first question to this hypothetical person (if you would be so kind to forward it to him/her accordingly):

What do you want to achieve with the database ? You will need some minimal understanding on how data is stored in the database if you want to use more than the simple standard functions that come with NWNX. Of course, if you are just starting out, then completing the tutorial in the documentation section and then having a look at the demo module for SQLite might give you a better idea what this is all about.

I think the database (especially SQLite) is the easy part. You will need a solid understanding of the script language (or a knowledgeable scripter) to actually solve your problems, though.
