I think, the price is too high..
I can get a dedicated server (Athlon 64 X2 6000+, 6 GB RAM, 750 GB) for that money.

Well, on first time i though same , i though that neverwinter dont need very nice machine, but when i started dedicated on linux, module with 120 mb , and plugins with 50 players, need very high CPU ;

We have Intel Xeon 5200 3,5 GHz (dual) ; Chpiset : FSB Intel 5000X a 1066 MHz y 1333 MHz

Think that we want that servers havent lag, this is our first targed.

80 euro works out about 70 quid in real money. Lol (GBP). Lol

Realise this is a really old thread like, but thought I should just put forward the name of the company I get my server off.

https://alpha-networks.co.uk/

Generally speaking, they get new stock in regularly, which is at varying prices, but the service is top notch, and I've had no problems to speak of with them.

I rent a Quad Core Q6600 2.4Ghz (8mb Cache) / 4GB RAM of them, which I manage to use for running Ventrillo, Team Speak, NWN, Dark Messiah, and a Wheel of Time Server off, all at the same time.

I have tried companies which offer 'game servers' which you control through a dumbed down console interface, but really, there is nothing better than direct remote desktop/ root access to the machine.

If I had to recommend either game server vs dedicated server, I would choose Dedicated 100% of the time.

I have always built all my own servers, virtual and physical. The only service I need that I really can't do myself is ISP bandwidth. Wink
