I'd like to clear something up that I'm hearing from someone.

I'm being told that *all* plugins would need to be recompiled with the new core.

Reading your posts in the Linux thread, it would appear that this is not the case, and that existing plugins should work.

NWNX Core 2.7-b2 may have problems with old plugin DLLs. But in reality I never experienced any, and never heard about it.
If anyone is experiencing crashes with NWNX Core 2.7-b2, please make a crash dump (if possible) or at least tell me when the crash happens.

Added an exception for Hashset plugin. The package has been updated.
Gotta fix this weak spot sometime...

Officially it's not, but it's stable enough to run it on a server.

Is the event.dll holding it back from being out of beta? Officially when do you think it might be out of beta?

Just a few questions the lead programmer would like to know before implementing this.

No, it was called beta because there was a small probability of memory leak with old plugins. I haven't seen anyone experiencing it, so this version can be considered production-ready.
It will be out of beta on the next release. I just don't think that simply renaming 2.7-beta4 to 2.7.4 without any changes makes sense.

Any idea when this next release will be? I'm on the same PW as Great Archmage.

There is no ETA right now. In a few months, maybe.
If you just don't like having 'beta' or 'b' in the version, you can change it to whatever you want and recompile. Smile
Seriously, it *is* stable enough to run it on a live server.
