No, there is no profiler for Linux, unfortunately. The difficulty, as always, is that the Linux binary has different function signatures and locations and hooking the 3-4 functions the profiler needs is not really easy. The rest of the profiler is not really dependent on Windows.

Actually, there *is* one for Linux, which I'm currently helping to beta test. *taunt* *taunt* Smile

I have never used the Windows profiler, so I don't know how it compares in terms of functions. It provides the names of scripts, how many times they were executed, and what the average length of time those scripts ran was.

Hopefully, the author of said plugin will be ready to release it at some point.

FYI, for those interested:

The DL link doesn't seem to be working at the moment, but it'll be neat to crack this open when it's available.

*and up*

Hi there,

I want to install the profiler for testing script usage on a PW project.
NWNX is running properly, but we don't get the profiler to work. When setting the paths and compliling it, the module won't start anymore.
What could we have done wrong?

I know, it's a very poor description of circumstances, but perhaps anybody has an idea of a point we didn't pay attention to?

Thx in advance.
