I'm getting a little sick of having to use VC++ 6 for NWNX2. Does anyone object to updating the trunk project files (and any code necessary) to build in VS2008?

I haven't kept the vs2008_update branch up to date, but the changes necessary to make it build are pretty straightforward.

<Fluffy-Kooshy> NWNx plugin is to this as nuclear warheads are to getting rid of fire ants.

<ThriWork> whenever I hear nwn extender, I think what does NWN need a penis extender for?

We have VS2010 now so it would be better to go with that one. Supported platforms are the same.

08 is widely used/supported, where as 10 is newer. Plus, on a lot of systems, 2010 can be really slow. There were quite a few differences (paths, for example) between them. Having both can't hurt, but I'd think 08 would be more convenient.

Done. The VS6 project files should still be able to coexist, but I strongly encourage using VS2008 for future development. VC++ 2008 Express Edition should also work, with the exception of the NWNX2 project, which will fail to build because MFC stuff is not included in Express.

If any of this seems not to be the case, it's a bug, so let me know. This is based on my memory from testing with a branch months ago, so I could be fuzzy on it.
