Hi guys, i installed perfectly nwnx2 with all plugins listed in nwnx_easy and it works properly.

But it seems to be a problem when i try to SetDeity or check location by script (standard script functions). Does nwserver got the permissions to write character data?

I gave alla the permissions by chmod, but the problem is still there.

Help me! Very Happy

PS: Before the last ubuntu's version i used debian without problems...

Are you using 32bit or 64bit?

32-bit: 64-bit doesn't work with NWNX.

To the OP, do these functions work without NWNX enabled? To check, simply open nwnstartup.sh and put a # in front of the LD_PRELOAD line.

To use NWNX on 64-bit system, you have to install 32-bit libraries and make a 32-bit chroot environment, then compile & run NWNX in this environment.

http://jblevins.org/computing/linux/ubuntu-chroot is a little old, but looks like a good place to start.

For anyone needing to persue a chrooted environment with a 64 bit Gentoo machine : http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/howtos/index.xml?part=1&chap=2

Can nwnx work with the client instead of the server? Oh and I got it working. Very Happy

Although two plugins wouldn't start. Maybe you could help?

NWNX is server-only.

You're missing the mysql and ruby libs in your chroot environment. The packages are probably just mysql and ruby.
